Fargo Street Hill Climb

I had heard about the Fargo Street Hill climb competition a few years ago.  I
didn't think too much of it.  I figured it was just for fun.  But lately I had been
wondering if I could do it and what was the record.  Well it was Easter Sunday
and I didn't have a ride scheduled so I thought I might as well check it out.

When I first turned the corner off of Alessandro and looked up Fargo Street I
thought there is no way I can make it up that thing.  But as soon as I starting
going up it I couldn't believe how easy I ascended it.

I used my Scott CR1 because it is light and I wanted the power transfer.  I had a
Shimano Compact Crank 50/34 and an 11/27 cassette.  I respect the riders who
have gone before me and their achievements.  I hear the record is 92 repeats.  I
would like to do maybe half of that on the next Hill Climb day.

Pictures just don't do this hill justice.  It is very steep.
