If you are looking for rides of longer distances click on EPIC RIDES. To aid you in choosing a ride we provide you with at least one of the following:
1. You will be provided with a brief description of the ride to include a rating system similar that used for Epic Rides. Rating system is from A to D with A being most difficult and D being least difficult.
2. A route sheet with turn by turn directions.
3. An elevation profile graph so may see the terrain.
4. An overhead map of the loop.

THIS RIDE BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 630 AM!! It begins at the intersection of La Costa and El Camino Real. Heads west on La Costa, North on the coast, and then rolls through a few hills in Carlsbad and eventually leads you back to the El Camino Real and La Costa intersection. Of course, you could join the Swamis at the La Costa coffee shop across from the Carlsbad Library. AKA the Gene Kelly Ride

This ride begins at the Starbucks in Encinitas in the Lumberyard. From Starbucks you will head North on the coast until reaching Ponto Beach. Right turn on Avenida Encinas Right turn Poinsettia Left on College cross Palomar Airporet Rd left on Faraday Right on Cannon across El Camino Real to College Left Carlsbad Village Dr left on Tamarack left on coast and South until you reach Starbucks again.

A favorite local ride along the coast. An easy 20 miles with a couple of gentle hills. Torrey Pines is the featured hill on this ride 1.3 miles 400 feet of gain avg grade of 5.5%. Make sure you take the time to look around and enjoy our beautiful coast. Click on the Torrey Pines link to learn some very interesting facts about this wonderful park in our own backyard.
